NX5 on Ubuntu x64

Although it's not supported officially, here's how you can install NX5 on a Ubuntu 64 bit box with the help of Showan2 from ubuntuforums.org.

Ubuntu seems to be gathering interest from many linux desktop users. (Don't count me in, I'm happy with my Windows XP x64 Edition!)

Are you sure this link is the right one? It seems to be some spanish site about configuting wireless ADSL routers...

I'm running NX6.04.3 on Ubuntu 9.1

I have some problems with menu configuration's not being retained and also in simulation the element quality check does not work.

Siemens could at least provide information on dependencies.

Sadly Installing NX7.5 on Ubuntu 10.04 is proving highly problematic.

Has anyone managed to do this? If so can they leave some instructions on a forum and a link.
